SIDNEY JACKSON Passed away on 10th January 2011 aged 91. Latterly of Caton House, Bletchley and formerly of Stoke-on-Trent and Ilford, Essex. Originally from Luton. A much loved Father and Grandfather who will be missed by all his family. The funeral service will take place on Friday 21st January at 9.30am at Crownhill Crematorium. During World War II Lesley Ball was in the WAAF (Women’s Auxilliary Air Force) and involved in the repair of radios. For a short while after the war Lesley remained in the WAAF as a PTI (Physical Training Instructor).

Lesley Ball was a typist at Luton and South Bedfordshire College after the war. It was here she met Sidney Jackson.

Died at 16:25 Saturday 20 December 2003 in Ward 1 Milton Keynes General Hospital from post-operative pneumonia following surgery at about 1pm Saturday 13 December 2003 to pin the bone after falling and fracturing the neck of her right femur at Meadowcroft Ward, Bucknall Hospital about 10am Friday 12 December 2003. Dennis Jackson present at the death.
