the parish of West Hoathly in the county of Sussex - widow.
1. I revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and
declare this to be my last will
2. I appoint my daughters Daisy Frances Redman and Dorothy Elsie Redman to be
EXECUTRIXES of this my will
3. I direct my executrixes to pay my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses
4. I give and bequeath to my son Archibald George Redman the sum of four hundred
pounds and as it is possible that I may lend or advance to him moneys during my life
time I direct that any such moneys so lent or advanced and which shall remain owing to
me from my said son at the time of my death shall be deducted from the said legacy of
four hundred pounds
5. I give and bequeath to my said daughter Dorothy Elsie Redman the sum of thirty
pounds and the piano which was last purchased by me.
6. I give and devise unto my said daughter Dorothy Elsie Redman my freehold semi-
detached house and shop in the occupation of Mrs W.E. Edwards situate and adjoining
the Post Office at Sharpthorne West Hoathly aforesaid absolutely
7. I give and devise unto my said daughter Daisy Frances Redman my freehold semi-
detached house and shop known as the Post Office Sharpthorne aforesaid and now in my
occupation absolutely.
8. As to all the rest residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal I
give devise and bequeath the same unto my said daughter Daisy Frances Redman absolutely
IN WITNESS whereof I have to this my last will and testament set my hand this second

SUBJECT to the payment of my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and the legacies given by this my Will or any Codicil hereto and all death duties and other monies which under or by virtue of any direction or bequest free of duty contained in this my Will or any Codicil hereto are payable out of my general personal estate I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all the real and personal property whatsoever and wheresoever of or to which I shall be possessed or entitled at my death or over which I shall then have a general power of appointment or disposition by Will to my said Executor UPON TRUST to sell the same and to hold the proceeds of sale as to one quarter for Mrs. Jean Fisher of 10 Dale Avenue Edgware in the County of Middlesex absolutely as to one quarter for Mr. David Travers of 10 Glenmore Parade Ealing Road Wembley absolutely as to one quarter for Mrs. Rita Brown of Peacock Farm Lower Morden Lane Morden Surrey absolutely as to one eighth for Miss Kay Houghton of 26 A.M.Q. Heywood Park R.A.F. White Waltham near Maidenhead absolutely and as to one eighth for Mr. Andrew Houghton of 26 A.M.Q. Heywood Park R.A.F. White Waltham near Maidenhead absolutely AND I DECLARE that the receipt of the parent or guardian of the said Kay Houghton and Andrew Houghton shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my Executor Provided that if any of them the said Mrs. Jean Fisher Mr. David Travers Mrs. Rita Brown Miss Kay Houghton and Mr. Andrew Houghton shall have died in my lifetime leaving issue living at my death such issue who shall attain the age of twenty one years shall take by substitution if more than one as tenants in common in equal shares the share or shares which their deceased parent would have taken had he or she survived me and attained a vested interest AND PROVIDED ALWAYS that if any of the above named residuary legatees shall died in my lifetime without leaving issue who shall take as aforesaid the share or interest of the residuary legatee so dying shall accrue and be added pro rata to the share or shares of the surviving residuary legatees
